Other income must use the same tax schedule. Investment income or separately taxed income needs a separate calculation.

Annual deductions reduce taxable income, not take-home pay directly. Manual deductions must include only verified amounts; automatic allowance taper is not applied in manual mode.

Use verified annual contributions when caps or tiers apply. Employer costs are excluded. Include tax-deductible contributions in additional deductions only when permitted.

Currency changes formatting only; no exchange rate is applied.

Money is rounded half up to the currency minor unit. Monthly net pay is an average, not a payroll withholding calculation.

Credits are nonrefundable and stop at the calculated tax. Unused credit is displayed separately; no refund or carry-forward is calculated.

Band rate excludes allowance taper and reliefs; it is not the tax on your next pay increase.

Calculation guide

How are income tax and net pay estimated?

Income is annualized, verified deductions reduce the tax base, and the selected profile or explicit flat rate estimates tax. Nonrefundable credits reduce that tax; employee contributions are then deducted to obtain net income.

Does this replace a payslip or tax return?

No. The model has a stated reference period and scope. Residency, special income, statutory contribution caps, benefits, local taxes and payroll timing can change the actual result. Monthly and work-period values are averages.
